Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Channel Systems Architect to drive growth across New England, Upstate NY, and Western PA. You will blend technical leadership with partner enablement to shape solutions and accelerate adoption of modern networking technologies, including Aruba and Juniper.

The role emphasizes trusted advisory, cross-functional collaboration with channel partners, and a focus on business outcomes through technical sales leadership and strategic influence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in networking (engineering, architecture, or consulting)
• Pre-sales, systems design, or technical account support experience preferred
• Strong background in network design, deployment, and partner enablement
• Expertise in Aruba, Juniper, or both (certifications are a plus)
• Strong understanding of network architecture and design principles
• Hands-on experience across multiple solution areas: Wireless, switching, routing, firewalls and network security, NAC and segmentation, SD-WAN, data center networking, cloud-managed networking platforms, AI automation
• Ability to design and present end-to-end solutions to solve customer problems and differentiate our solutions over those from our competitors
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Self-driven, comfortable working independently in a partner-driven sales environment

Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise across the HPE Networking portfolio, including Aruba and Juniper solutions
• Architect and position end-to-end solutions spanning Wireless (WiFi), Switching & Routing, SD-WAN, Network Security, Data Center networking, Cloud-managed platforms
• Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to our channel partner technical teams
• Enable partners through technical training, workshops, and hands-on coaching
• Guide partners in opportunity discovery, solution design, and competitive positioning
• Support and deliver product and solution presentations, new technologies and standards, and training
• Coach partners on designing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions
• Assist with BOMs, configurations and reference architectures, and performance budgeting
• Provide technical support for RFPs, SKUs and licensing, demos, TAC engagements
• Drive technical win rates and deal closures
• Maintain certifications and stay ahead of trends in SASE, AI automation, cloud networking, Wi-Fi standards, security
