Job summary

Palo Alto Networks seeks a National Partner Channel Solutions Consultant 2 to serve as the senior technical leader for our largest reseller partners nationwide. This role focuses on scaling partner technical capability, building security practices, and enabling partner-led services that drive long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in partner solution consulting, systems engineering, security architecture, or related technical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications: Palo Alto Networks (Professional level), CISSP, and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with national VARs or large system integrators is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead national technical strategy for strategic partners across sales, presales, delivery, and managed services.
• Build trusted relationships with partner executive leadership and services executives, influencing technical strategy and priorities.
• Act as the technical quarterback by setting direction and coordinating partner enablement across sellers, architects, and services teams.
• Guide and enable the creation of partner-led services, including assessments, implementation frameworks, runbooks, and managed services.
• Design and deliver mentorship-enabled enablement to position Palo Alto Networks solutions effectively.
• Partner with Channel Business Managers, sales leadership, and marketing to align technical readiness with GTM priorities.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical challenges and provide strategic guidance.
