Job summary

Carhartt seeks a Senior Channel Business Analyst to support national wholesale partners, collaborating with Field Sales Leaders and cross-functional teams to drive channel strategies. You will analyze performance, communicate insights, and help shape assortments and execution for key accounts.

The role requires 6+ years as a business analyst, strong Excel, SAP Business Objects, and proficiency with Lumira/Tableau/Power BI. Remote position; minimal travel to events may be required within the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required in related field.
• 6+ years of Business Analyst experience in apparel, ecommerce, retail or consumer products.
• National Account experience strongly preferred.
• Strong MS-Office skills with emphasis on Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• 2+ years with SAP Business Objects or similar data extraction tool.
• Knowledge of Lumira/Tableau/Power BI for analytics.
• Understanding of retail, finance and inventory metrics.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present insights clearly.
• Experience writing clear formal reports based on data queries.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Reps and Customers to align pre-season Account Level Assortment Plans.
• Participate in pre/post and in-season checkpoints with Demand Planning.
• Report Revenue vs. Customer Targets and KPI metrics (sales, inventory, margin, turnover).
• Review wholesale inventory, fill rates, ATP, and contract consumption.
• Analyze product, geography, and consumer data to identify opportunities to grow top-line sales.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Field Sales, Marketing, Strategy, IT.
• Design and implement new processes and projects to meet objectives.
• Create business cases and change requests with ROI analyses.
• Mentor junior Channel Business Analysts.
• Support data-driven insights through POS shipments and industry trends.
