Job summary

Eaton’s Commercial Products and Assemblies division in Sumter, SC is seeking a Lead Change Coordinator Engineer to manage the Change Management lifecycle from initiation to closure. The role oversees documentation, risk assessment, approvals, validation, and timely closure while coordinating with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.

The position offers a salary range of $97,000–$143,000 per year with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Program Management.
• Understanding of PFMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, 8D, A3, and root cause analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of the Change Management process from initiation through closure.
• Review change requests for completeness and routing accuracy.
• Lead review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own and maintain the Change Management tracker and monitor actions.
• Ensure risk and impact assessments are completed for changes.
• Coordinate approval routing based on change category and risk level.
• Support validation and implementation planning with required actions and owners.
• Drive timely closure of change requests and communicate risks to leadership.
• Prepare and communicate performance indicators for changes and closures.
• Identify process gaps and propose improvements to strengthen effectiveness.
• Ensure Change Management records are complete and retrievable.
• Assist with training users on change process and criteria.
