Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking an experienced Outsourced Chief Financial Officer for our Outsourced Services practice, focusing on real estate private equity fund clients. This senior, client-facing role blends strategic financial leadership with fund accounting, governance, and compliance.

The CFO will guide fund sponsors on capital strategy, lead complex financial modeling, and oversee investor reporting and regulatory obligations across LP/GP structures.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in accounting and finance, with real estate private equity fund structures
• Experience with fund accounting, capital accounts, waterfall calculations, and US GAAP reporting
• Experience with real estate debt structures, loan covenants, and financing processes
• CPA license and MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Advise fund sponsors and GPs on capital strategy and major financial decisions
• Develop forward-looking financial models and performance insights for portfolio strategy
• Lead reporting for NAV, capital accounts, IRR, equity multiple, and cash-on-cash returns
• Oversee LPAs, operating agreements, side letters, and waterfall methodologies
• Coordinate audits, tax returns, and regulator filings; manage client engagements
