Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking an experienced Outsourced Chief Financial Officer to join our Outsourced Services practice, focusing on real estate private equity fund clients. This senior, client-facing advisory role combines strategic financial leadership with fund accounting, reporting, governance, and compliance.

The CFO will advise fund sponsors and general partners on capital strategy, fund structuring, growth planning, and major financial decisions while overseeing the financial infrastructure

Qualifications

• The candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 15+ years of accounting and finance experience, including real estate private equity fund structures.
• Experience with fund accounting, capital accounts, waterfalls, and US GAAP for investment funds.
• Experience with real estate debt structures and loan covenants.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted CFO advisor to fund sponsors and general partners.
• Develop forward-looking financial models, forecasts, and performance insights.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, capital accounts, and waterfall calculations.
• Lead investor reporting and performance measurement including NAV and IRR.
• Manage audits, tax processes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
