Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks an experienced Outsourced Chief Financial Officer for our Outsourced Services practice, focusing on real estate private equity fund clients. This senior, client-facing role blends strategic financial leadership with fund accounting, reporting, governance, and compliance.

You will advise sponsors and GPs on capital strategy, fund structuring, and major financial decisions while overseeing the funds' financial infrastructure. This is a hybrid role with a national footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 15+ years of accounting and finance experience, including direct experience with real estate private equity fund structures such as fund of funds, joint ventures, and co-investment vehicles.
• Experience with fund accounting, capital account maintenance, waterfall or promote calculations, and US GAAP financial reporting for investment funds.
• Experience with real estate debt structures, loan covenants, and financing processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted CFO advisor to real estate fund sponsors and general partners, providing insight on capital strategy, growth planning, fund economics, and major investment decisions.
• Develop forward-looking financial models, forecasts, and performance insights that guide portfolio strategy, capital allocation, and hold/sell decisions.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, capital accounts, preferred returns, and waterfall/promote calculations across LP/GP, co-investment, and joint venture structures.
• Lead investor reporting and performance measurement, including NAV, capital account reporting, IRR, equity multiple, and cash-on-cash returns.
• Lead annual audit and tax processes, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to support timely financial statements, tax returns, and Schedule K-1s.
