Job summary

Rand Simulation, part of Rand Worldwide, seeks a CFD simulation specialist with strong ANSYS knowledge to drive growth as a leading provider of CAE solutions and engineering simulation services. This is a remote opportunity located anywhere in the US.

You will lead simulations, support the sales process with technical guidance, and stay current with ANSYS platforms to deliver impactful design insights to clients.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years industrial/design experience related to fluid systems.
• 3+ years experience with CFD methods.
• Proven experience using ANSYS Fluent and/or CFX.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead on consulting projects with responsibility for running simulations for clients.
• Provide technical pre-sales support throughout the sales process.
• Interface with sales teams to provide technical guidance and SME input on Ansys solutions.
• Analyze client needs, infrastructure, and workflows to propose suitable simulation solutions.
• Ensure on-time, in-budget delivery of project deliverables and demos.
