Job summary

Rand Simulation, part of Rand Worldwide's network, seeks a highly skilled CFD simulation specialist with deep knowledge of ANSYS software to join our growing team. This remote US opportunity allows you to work from anywhere while delivering high-impact fluid dynamics analyses.

You will lead simulations for client projects, provide technical pre-sales support, mentor teammates, and stay current with ANSYS platforms to drive ROI for customers.

Qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with emphasis on fluid dynamics, heat transfer, or numerical methods.
• 3+ years of industrial and design experience related to fluid systems.
• 3+ years of experience in CFD methods.
• Proven experience using ANSYS Fluent and/or CFX.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Strong understanding of numerical methods and convergence stability.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting projects and run simulations for clients.
• Provide technical pre-sales support during the sales process.
• Interface with Rand Simulation sales teams to guide opportunities with ANSYS software and simulation consulting.
• Analyze prospects' and customer needs and propose simulation solutions.
• Ensure on-time and in-budget delivery of deliverables and demos.
• Stay up-to-date with ANSYS platforms and expand knowledge.
