Job summary

Rand Simulation is seeking a CFD simulation specialist with strong knowledge of Ansys software packages to continue our rapid growth as a leading provider of Ansys CAE solutions and engineering simulation consulting services. This is a remote opportunity and can be located anywhere in the US.

You will lead consulting projects, run simulations for clients, provide technical pre-sales support, and stay up-to-date with Ansys platforms to deliver impactful design insights.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with emphasis on fluid dynamics or related areas.
• 3+ years of industrial and design experience related to fluid systems.
• 3+ years of CFD methods experience.
• Proven experience using Ansys Fluent and/or CFX.
• Solid understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions.
• PE license preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead on consulting projects with responsibility of running simulations for clients.
• Provide technical pre-sales support throughout the sales process.
• Interface with Rand Simulation sales teams on Ansys software opportunities to provide technical guidance.
• Analyze prospect and customer technical needs, and propose suitable simulation solutions.
• Ensure on-time and in-budget delivery of project deliverables and demos.
• Provide ANSYS training (basic and customized) and mentoring to clients.
