Job summary

Rand Simulation, a Rand Worldwide division, seeks a CFD simulation specialist with strong ANSYS knowledge to join our rapid growth as a leading CAE provider. This is a remote opportunity and can be located anywhere in the US.

You will lead consulting projects, run simulations for clients, provide technical pre-sales support, and guide ANSYS opportunities to deliver impact. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in ME or AE with emphasis on fluid dynamics or heat transfer.
• 3+ years in industrial fluid systems and CFD methods.
• Proven experience using ANSYS Fluent and/or CFX.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teams.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools like SolidWorks or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting projects and run simulations for clients.
• Provide technical pre-sales support during sales processes.
• Interface with sales teams to guide ANSYS opportunities.
• Analyze technical needs and propose suitable simulation solutions.
• Ensure on-time and in-budget delivery of project deliverables.
• Provide ANSYS training and mentoring to clients.
• Stay current with ANSYS platforms and tools.
