Job summary

Wethersfield is seeking a Part-Time Senior Center Program Specialist to support the Community Center and Senior Center operations. The role involves assisting with planning, organizing, and executing programs and events for seniors in the community.

The position supports the Senior Center Coordinator and collaborates with staff, volunteers, and sponsors on program operations and outreach efforts, including website, social media, newsletters and ads. A CT driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with a minimum of two years’ work experience in Senior Services or a related field.
• Possession of a State of Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.

The Social, Youth, & Senior Services Department seeks a dependable and empathetic team member to serve as a Part‑Time Senior Center Program Specialist at the Community Center. This position provides essential support to the Senior Center Coordinator.
