Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Recreation, or related field.
• Two years’ experience in gerontology, recreation management or related field.
• CPR Certification and Defibrillator Certification are required.

This role delivers diverse programming tailored to varying activity levels by researching, planning, and executing classes, day trips, and special events, as well as managing monthly activity schedules and communications. The Coordinator plays a critical role in volunteer management by recruiting, training, and retaining a team of 100+ volunteers, while serving as a primary resource and advocate for senior members.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Recreation, or related field.
• Two years’ experience in gerontology, recreation management or related field.
• CPR Certification, Defibrillator (Cardiac) Certification.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.
