Job summary

FSL Programs in Peoria, AZ seeks a Manager, Senior Center & CAP to oversee senior center services, CAP operations, and related meal programs. You will ensure contractual compliance and maintain strong partnerships with funders and community organizations.

This full-time role requires 3+ years in human services with supervision experience, valid driver license, and certifications (Serve Safe Kitchen Manager, CPR/First Aid). You will lead staff and coordinate services to seniors daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in Human Services.
• At least one year in supervision and two years working with seniors.
• Knowledge of needs of senior community and available resources.
• Valid unrestricted driver license and insurability.
• Serve Safe Kitchen Manager certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clear fingerprint background screening and full background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of Nutrition Programs (congregate and home-delivered meals).
• Maintain program records, data, and required reporting in system tools.
• Ensure compliance with program requirements and standards.
• Maintain relationships with funders and external partners.
• Oversee nutrition standards and meal-service coordination.
• Support participant needs and referrals to CAP staff or health services.
• Coordinate participant activities and special programs with staff and volunteers.
• Ensure home-delivered meal vehicles are ready and safe to operate.
• Promote community engagement and fundraising efforts.
• Lead and manage staff in line with policies and laws.
