Job summary

Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens seeks an Operations Manager to oversee all PACE center services, transportation, dietary, and facilities management. You will lead staff to deliver high-quality care aligned with PACE standards and ensure compliance with regulations.

The role emphasizes quality improvement, participant rights, and staff development, with evening/weekend on-call coverage as part of rotating responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a manager or administrator in human/health care services.
• Experience in startup programs, accountable care organizations, or health insurance plans preferred.
• At least one year working with the elderly population; training provided if not present.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PACE Center operations and all support services.
• Promote high-quality care according to PACE standards and regulations.
• Lead staff, ensure competency, and maintain staff engagement and retention.
• Ensure participant rights are understood and respected by all staff.
• Coordinate transportation, dietary services, and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe center environment and OSHA compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement and data-driven decision making.
• Provide on-call administrative coverage evenings and weekends.
