CDM Smith is seeking a-field inspector to join our Transportation Construction, Engineering and Inspection team. This on-site role will inspect road and bridge projects across multiple locations in the U.S.

and requires reading plans, using construction equipment, and maintaining detailed inspection records. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, relevant certifications, a valid license, and at least six years of related experience.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications from a State Highway Agency or NICET in earthwork, asphalt, and concrete if required by the client.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 6 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Performing complex and routine inspections of construction to evaluate material and process conformity with plans and specs.
• Uses higher-grade equipment and performs complex calculations for inspections.
• Works under supervision appropriate to assignment.
• Reviewing drawings to prepare for inspection.
• Documenting inspection results and communicating findings to supervisor.
