CDM Smith Inc. is seeking an inspector to perform fundamental to advanced inspections of transportation infrastructure, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and special provisions.

You will measure, document, and report findings to the project supervisor. The role involves planning inspections, possibly directing other inspectors, and carrying out field measurements for pay items and contract documents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications from a State Highway Agency or national entity like ACI/NICET may be required by client or jurisdiction.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic to high complexity inspections of transportation infrastructure to verify materials and construction conform to plans and specs.
• Use industry standard gauges and calculations to perform inspections.
• Plan basic to high complexity inspections and, if needed, assign tasks to other inspectors.
• Document and communicate inspection results to the project supervisor.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay items and contractual documentation.
