Job summary

Accura Engineering in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced construction engineering inspection services on transportation projects. The role leads inspections, supervises inspectors, and supports contract administration and project documentation.

The position may involve project engineering duties on projects such as roundabouts, bridge work, ITS, and roadway widening, with close coordination of LAP requirements and project close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience serving as a lead inspector coordinating inspection personnel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced construction engineering inspection on roadway and bridge projects.
• Supervise lower-level inspectors and provide guidance.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing for conformance to specs.
• Perform contract administration duties including field measurements and pay item documentation.
• Review project documents, plans, specs, and LAP/contract requirements for compliance.
• Attend meetings and assist with project close-out activities.
