Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced construction engineering inspection on transportation projects.

You will lead inspection teams, coordinate field activities, and support contract administration and project documentation. The role requires inspecting roadway and bridge construction, conducting materials testing, and ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and LAP requirements.

Formación

• Four or more years of progressive transportation technician experience.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience serving as lead inspector and coordinating the work of inspection personnel.
• Valid driver license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection for roadway and bridge projects.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Serve as Lead Project Inspector, performing independent and complex inspections.
• Supervise and guide lower-level inspectors on routine to moderately complex assignments.
• Monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and contract requirements.
• Exercise independent judgment in evaluating construction activities and resolving field issues.
• Perform contract administration duties, including field measurements and documentation.
• Participate in meetings such as Concept Meetings, Field Plan Reviews, CPM reviews, and close-out activities.
• Assist with project engineering duties on transportation projects when assigned.
• Review and verify invoiced work for accuracy and compliance.
