Job summary

DB E.C.O. North America is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with deep CBTC expertise to lead signaling and rail projects. You will manage scope, schedules, and budgets across complex rail systems, while coordinating with clients and suppliers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to business development, and uphold safety, regulatory, and industry standards. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years in engineering/consulting for railway projects; 15+ years preferred.
• At least 6 years hands-on CBTC experience with a minimum of two CBTC projects.
• Experience with other rail systems is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical consultancy and lead technical deliverables through the project lifecycle.
• Lead signal systems engineering with a focus on CBTC and signaling deliverables.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communication; coordinate supplier proposals and workshops.
• Prepare project proposals, methodologies, budgets, and timelines.
• Support business development with client presentations and relationships.
