Job summary

DB E.C.O North America seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead CBTC and signaling systems projects across rail infrastructure. You will manage scope, schedule and budget, coordinate with clients and suppliers, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Sc.).
• At least 10 years of related experience in engineering/consulting for railway projects; 15+ preferred.
• At least 6 years hands-on CBTC experience with minimum of two CBTC projects.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations and safety requirements.
• Experience in writing technical specifications and technical proposals.
• Strong leadership and decision-making qualities required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness for domestic/international travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical consultancy and lead technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead as technical interface for signaling systems engineering with CBTC focus.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholders; coordinate proposals and workshops.
• Prepare project proposals, methodologies, budgets, and timelines.
• Support business development activities and client relationship building.
