Siemens Mobility in New York seeks a Senior CBTC Technical Manager to lead CBTC technical strategy across complex transit projects. You will guide equipment architecture, wayside/onboard hardware and software, integration, testing, and commissioning with a strong customer focus.

You will mentor cross-functional teams, manage design decisions, and ensure safety-critical train control systems meet performance, contractual and safety requirements in a dynamic rail environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of CBTC technical experience across design, integration, testing and deployment.
• Proven leadership in CBTC, systems engineering, integration or rail infrastructure.
• Strong requirements management, interface management, system V&V and migration planning.
• Experience guiding customers and teams through technical decisions and risk.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional signaling, communications, cybersecurity and safety.

Responsabilités

• Serve as technical authority for CBTC systems, leading architecture and design decisions.
• Act as customer trusted advisor, resolving complex equipment issues and ensuring contract alignment.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across CBTC signaling, train control, communications and safety.
• Oversee end-to-end CBTC integration, testing, migration, commissioning and revenue service.
• Drive governance, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.
