Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Catering / Special Events Supervisor to oversee the seamless execution of catered events, banquets, and special functions at Well& by Durst in New York City. You will coordinate event logistics, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional service in collaboration with Catering, Culinary, Stewarding, Facilities, Security, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old and have a high school diploma.
• ServSafe certifications required or preferred.
• Minimum two years in banquet operations or similar.
• Experience in supervisory roles preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of catered events.
• Coordinate movement of equipment and supplies.
• Serve as primary operational contact during events and respond to requests.
• Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead pre-event roll calls and supervise event staff.
• Ensure safety and compliance with food and workplace safety standards.
