Job summary

Legends Global in New York is seeking a Banquet/Catering Houseperson to support event setup, service, and breakdown at Well& by Durst, NYC. You will handle furniture placement, linen management, and maintain clean, organized spaces during high-volume events.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, hospitality experience, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds; training in food safety is a plus. This on-site role offers $20/hour plus comprehensive benefits, with a flexible schedule for event

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in hospitality or banquet operations is preferred.
• OSHA/ServSafe or similar safety training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces and equipment.
• Move, arrange, and store tables, chairs, and service items as needed.
• Maintain linen inventory and keep areas clean and organized.
• Support event operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
