Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Banquet/Catering Houseperson to support catered events in a fast-paced environment on-site at Well by Durst, 151, NYC. You will assist with setup, maintenance, and breakdown of spaces and equipment to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Role requires a high school diploma and ability to lift up to 100 pounds. OSHA/ServSafe certifications are preferred. On-site work with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hospitality or catering preferred.
• OSHA/ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event space setup and equipment distribution per event specs.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs, bars, and other furnishings during setup and breakdown.
• Count, organize, transport, and distribute event equipment and serving items.
• Maintain linen inventory and prepare linens for return to vendors or laundry.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish furniture, fixtures, and service items.
• Support event operations by keeping areas stocked and organized throughout service.
• Bus tables and remove used service ware to maintain a clean environment.
• Retrieve and deliver supplies and materials from storage areas as needed.
• Participate in event breakdown and return all items to storage locations.
