Job summary

Stratas Foods LLC is seeking a Senior/National Category Manager to lead account management within the Inside Sales Team. The role focuses on developing category strategies, managing key customer portfolios, and optimizing pricing and profitability across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years for National Category Manager; 3+ years for Senior Category Manager.
• Proven ability in category strategy, pricing, forecasting and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen customer relationships with a focus on service excellence.
• Manage a strategic book of business with pricing, RFP/RFQ responses, forecasting and support.
• Develop and execute category strategies for growth, margin and customer success.
• Analyze commodity markets, pricing trends, competition, and opportunities.
• Own category forecasting and collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Marketing, Technical Services, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, profitability, and market share.
• Lead category projects and broader initiatives; mentor team members as needed.
• Travel to meet onsite teams and customers.
