Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Analyst/Manager to support category management initiatives by analyzing multi-source data and delivering actionable insights. The role emphasizes collaboration with the sales team and client partners to drive performance.

Ideal candidates have strong data-mining and storytelling skills, experience with Circana/IRI data, and a Bachelor’s degree. This is a hybrid position with in-office days required three times per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related work experience may be substituted.
• 2+ years related experience.
• Proficiency in Windows apps including Excel, PowerPoint, VB, and macros.
• Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools.
• Clearly and concisely communicate relevant information.
• Identify and leverage data to diagnose situations and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical analysis, insights, and recommendations for category management projects using POS and syndicated data.
• Work with Circana (IRI)/NielsenIQ and retailer data sources.
• Develop category presentations with syndicated data and other sources.
