Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Analyst/Manager to support our sales teams with high-quality data analysis and insights. This hybrid role requires three days in the office per week and offers opportunities to influence category strategy across multiple retailer types.

You will work with syndicated data, POS sources, and BI tools to evaluate item performance, support assortment planning, and drive store clustering strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related work experience may substitute.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Windows applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and macros.
• Experience with syndicated data sources and category analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical insights for category management using POS and Circana data.
• Prepare presentations with syndicated data addressing business issues.
• Collaborate with CP G Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results.
• Stay updated on client KPIs, strategies, and project timelines.
• Leverage client relationships to understand deliverables and schedules.
• Possess strong data mining and CP G math concept skills.
• Category Analyst/Manager certification is a plus.
