Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Analyst/Manager to support category management with analytical analysis and synthesis of multi-source data, including POS and Circana/IRI data. The role focuses on item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering through a modular process, leveraging effective communication to drive action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; related work experience may substitute.
• Advanced Windows suite including Excel, PowerPoint, VB and macros.
• Experience with syndicated data and space management tools.
• Clear and concise communication of relevant information.
• Identify and leverage data to diagnose situations and find solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical insights for category management projects using retailer POS and Circana/IRI data.
• Use Retailer POS and Circana/IRI data sources and reporting tools.
• Develop category presentations with syndicated data to address business issues.
• Collaborate with CP G Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results.
• Stay informed on client KPIs, strategies, and project timelines.
• Leverage client relationships to understand deliverables and schedules.
• Category Analyst/Manager Certification is a plus.
