Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Analyst/Manager to perform in-depth analytics for item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering. The role requires collaboration with the sales team and building strong client partnerships.

The position is hybrid with three days in the office weekly, focusing on data-driven insights and effective communication to drive actions across clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or related work experience may substitute.
• 2+ years related experience in category management or analytics.
• Proficiency in Windows apps including Excel, PowerPoint, VB, and macros.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical insights for category management using retailer POS and Circana/IRI data sources.
• Utilize Retailer POS and Circana (IRI)/NielsenIQ tools for reporting.
• Strong analytics, insights, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Develop category presentations using syndicated data to address business issues.
• Collaborate with CP G Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results.
• Stay updated on client KPIs, strategies, and timelines.
• Leverage client relationships to understand deliverables and schedules.
• Category Analyst/Manager Certification is a plus.
