Job summary

Acosta is seeking a category analyst/manager to perform analytical analyses, synthesize multi-source data, and support category management initiatives. The role involves collaboration with sales teams and clients to deliver high-quality insights and actionable recommendations.

You will evaluate item performance and assortment planning using POS and Circana data, while leveraging effective communication to drive action and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; related work experience may substitute.
• 2+ years related experience in analytics or category management.
• Strong proficiency in Windows and software including Excel, PowerPoint, VB and macros.
• Experience with syndicated data and space management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical insights and recommendations for category management projects using retailer POS and NielsenIQ/Circana data.
• Utilize Retailer POS and Circana/IRI tools to inform decisions.
• Develop category presentations employing syndicated data and other sources; address business issues.
• Collaborate with CPD Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results.
• Maintain awareness of client KPIs, strategies, and project timelines.
