Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Analyst/Manager to support the sales team with advanced analytics and data-driven category management. You will work with retailer POS and Circana/IRI data to assess item performance, assortment planning, and store clustering.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling category presentations and ensure timely delivery of insights to clients, leveraging strong communication and storytelling to drive action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or related work experience may substitute
• 2+ years related experience in category management/analytics
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization skills
• Experience with syndicated data and space management tools
• Clear concise communication and data-driven storytelling

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical insights for category management projects using retailer POS and Circana/IRI data.
• Develop category presentations incorporating syndicated data and other data sources.
• Collaborate with CP/G Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure quality results.
• Track client KPIs, strategies and timelines; maintain up-to-date knowledge of client priorities.
• Build strong relationships with clients to understand deliverables and project timelines.
