Lowe's in Utah is seeking a Customer Service Associate to engage with customers, understand needs, and guide them through products and services. You will support checkout operations, process transactions, handle returns, and maintain store standards while delivering helpful, friendly service.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, demonstrating merchandise, stocking, and supporting the Front End team to ensure fast, accurate service. Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions by guiding them through projects when necessary.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information.
• Coaches, develops, provides feedback, and trains associates in the Front End Team duties and sales opportunities.
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines.
• Provides proper monetary change to Front End associates for register activities.
• Removes security tags, verifies product information, and bags merchandise for customers.
• Assists in line vesting to help turn around time for checkout and ensures enough coverage.
• Prepares register area at shift start/end by checking registers/scanners and stocking supplies.
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages.
• Enters and submits customer orders, prints order tickets, verifies receipts, and signs off on loading tickets.
• Looks up product information and competitor prices for price matching.
• Records store-use items and completes cash counting and daily reconciliation duties.
• Monitors cash levels to ensure they do not exceed limits.
• Monitors store entrances/exits and assists customers or associates who trigger alarms.
• Detects signs of shoplifting and communicates them to management/Asset Protection.
• Maintains housekeeping standards and store safety programs.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment and conducts daily safety reviews.
• Operates store equipment as needed (as per role/department).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
