Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service through Lowe's customer service policies and programs.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds to questions and walks customers through projects or store areas.
• Communicates stock, pricing, warranties and program information to customers.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
• Processes sales, returns, and refunds at the register.
• Maintains register area and ensures proper cash handling.
• Assists in checkout coverage and ensures adequate register availability.
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages and processes orders.
• Looks up product info and price matches to help customers.
• Records store use items and completes daily reconciliation duties.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping standards.
• Operates store equipment as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
