Chicago Public Schools seeks a Case Manager to lead special education program implementation in the district. The role involves coordinating IEP/504 processes, serving as the district representative at required meetings, and ensuring compliance with timelines for evaluations and service delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in special education, a valid PEL in Special Education or supervisory endorsement, and a strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI frameworks.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in special education.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or Master’s in educational administration.
• A valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Special Education PK-Age 21 or equivalent supervisory endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local district representative at required IDEA and 504 meetings.
• Coordinate referrals for FIE and ensure completion within 60 school days after consent.
• Chair IEP and 504 conferences and act as District Representative.
• Finalize IEP/504 Plans in the SSM and provide copies to parents/guardians.
• Ensure timely entry of student data into SSM and coordinate services per IEP.
