Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Case Manager to mentor the case management team and ensure services meet SSVF client needs. This role blends administrative duties with field outreach and community coordination.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or related field, at least 3 years of case management experience, and the ability to obtain required clearances. On-site work in Los Angeles, CA with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Ability to work with difficult or uncooperative clients.
• DOJ Live Scan required.
• TB test required.
• Flu vaccine (or declination) required.

Responsibilities

• On-site service delivery is mandatory; report to work on-site daily.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop client case plans.
• Monitor and support case managers to ensure service quality and progress.
• Coordinate referrals to VA/community providers and resources.
• Maintain documentation for program eligibility and record-keeping.
• Develop and deliver workshops and participate in outreach events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
