Job summary

Tencent is seeking a high-caliber Commercial Professional in Palo Alto to lead carrier network resource development, coordinate with operators, and drive strategic partnerships across the US. You will manage the full lifecycle of deployments and optimize interconnection as part of Tencent's CSIG ambitions.

Candidates should have a technical background in IDC/networking, strong negotiation skills, and a track record with cross-border collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in infrastructure, telecom, or cloud environments.
• Technical background in IDC, networking, or cloud infrastructure with operator/CDN collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of peering, routing optimization, and interconnection models.
• Proven commercial negotiation skills with cross-border partnerships in the US.
• Familiarity with contract structures and basic legal considerations.
• Cloud or networking certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial development for carrier network resources across the full lifecycle.
• Act as primary commercial interface for telecom operators in the assigned region.
• Serve as main contact between Tencent and operators/suppliers to drive issue resolution.
• Drive implementation of network resource projects ensuring internal-external alignment.
• Provide market intelligence and recommendations on carrier engagement and procurement.
