Tencent Cloud in Palo Alto, California is seeking an IDC Procurement & Commercial Manager to expand infrastructure and partner with regional telecom operators. You will source IDC resources in the U.S. and optimize interconnection to enhance service quality for end users.

Responsibilities include evaluating providers, managing U.S. carrier partnerships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth deployment and growth. Travel across the U.S. is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or above with 3+ years in infrastructure, telecom, or cloud environments.
• Technical background in IDC, networking, or cloud infra with operator/CDN experience.
• Strong understanding of peering, routing, and interconnection models.
• Proven cross-border carrier partnership negotiation experience in U.S. markets.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S.

What the Role Entails

Tencent Cloud is seeking an IDC Procurement & Commercial Manager to support infrastructure expansion and carrier partnership development across America, based in Palo Alto, California. This role focuses on sourcing and managing IDC resources within U.S. markets, establishing strong commercial relationships with regional telecom operators, and optimizing network interconnection to enhance service quality for end users. You will contribute to localized deployment strategies across U.S. and strengthen long-term infrastructure partnerships to support business growth in the region.

Who We Look For

• 1. Bachelor's degree or above with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, telecom, or cloud-related environments
• 2. Technical background in IDC, networking, or cloud infrastructure with practical experience working with telecom operators, cloud providers, or large-scale internet environments including CDN
• 3. Strong understanding of peering, routing optimization, and interconnection models within carrier or IDC environments
• 4. Proven commercial negotiation capability with experience managing cross-border carrier or infrastructure partnerships across U.S. markets
• 5. Familiarity with contract structures and basic legal considerations in commercial negotiations; relevant cloud or networking certifications are advantageous; willingness to travel frequently across U.S.

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $97,500.00 to $183,500.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee's tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year.

Your benefits may be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level. Benefits may also be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
