Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in the United States is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and assist residents with activities of daily living in a senior living community. You will help residents with mobility, meals, housekeeping, and social activities; you must communicate clearly, follow policies, and support a respectful, confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed (beds, apartments, common areas, dining rooms).
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining rooms and activities.
• Check on residents to ensure attendance at meals and activities.
• Communicate resident status and upcoming information in writing.
