Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality care for residents in a senior living community. You will assist with daily living activities, help with mobility, and support residents during meals and activities.

You will report incidents promptly, maintain confidentiality, and participate in training while collaborating with a nursing team. A friendly, patient demeanor and reliable scheduling are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of the nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to RN/LPN or ED.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Assist in planning and conducting resident activity programs.
• Provide emotional support during move-in and transitions.
• Ensure residents attend meals and activities and report status as needed.
