Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality daily living support for residents. You will help with activities of daily living, assist with meals, mobility, and social activities while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work with a caregiving team across shifts, including weekends. Training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program as required by state regulations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist transfers of residents.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel (e.g., RN/LPN, ED).
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and dining spaces as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Plan and conduct activity programs, ensuring resident engagement.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and records.
• Assist residents to and from dining areas and activities, monitoring attendance.
• Communicate status and upcoming information to team and families as needed.
