Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, VA is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist with daily activities, follow individualized care plans, and document services while upholding residents' dignity and quality of life.

This full-time role offers evening shifts (11pm–7am or 3pm–11pm) and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification required.
• Ability to fulfill both the physical and emotional needs of residents.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks, coordinating with the Resident Care Director.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment to prevent accidents.
• Make routine resident care rounds per individualized care plans."
• Document daily care activities according to policy and regulatory standards.
• Report any resident issues promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
