Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, VA is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) to assist seniors in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily tasks and individualized care plans. You will document services, support residents emotionally, and uphold the dignity and quality of life for each resident.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and direct patient interaction, including weekend availability and adherence to safety and infection control procedures.

Qualificações

• Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to fulfill both physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Flexibility to work weekends to ensure resident care.

Responsabilidades

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate changes to the Resident Care Director.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Perform routine care rounds to meet each resident’s needs per their care plan.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using safe body mechanics.
• Document daily care activities in accordance with policy and regulatory standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to the supervisor and respond to inquiries from residents and staff.
