Qualifications

• CNA certification required to work with residents.
• CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to fulfill both physical and emotional needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and monitor care plans.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Conduct routine rounds to meet individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts/moves using safe body mechanics.
• Document daily care activities per policy and standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to supervision.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Support residents and families to maintain a homelike environment.
