Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, VA is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) for full-time night and evening shifts. You will assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care, follow individualized care plans, document care, and support well-being with patience and compassion.

As a Culture Ambassador, you will uphold the company's values, participate in trainings, and collaborate with a dedicated team to create a homelike, respectful environment for seniors and their families.

Qualifications

• Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification is required.
• Ability to assist residents with daily activities with empathy.
• Willingness to obtain state-specific certification if needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and mobility.
• Maintain care plans and document services provided.
• Perform lifts, moves, and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Ensure skin integrity and prevent pressure ulcers.
• Document care activities and report issues to supervisor.
