Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, VA is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) to assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care, following individualized care plans, documenting services, and supporting residents' dignity and quality of life.

The role requires Direct-Care experience or PCA/CNA certification, CPR/First Aid readiness, and flexible availability including weekends. Full-time night shifts (11pm-7am) or (3pm-11pm) with a competitive hourly pay range of $16-$19.

Qualifications

• Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification required.
• Ability to meet physical and emotional needs of residents.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with care director.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques.
• Conduct routine care rounds per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts and transfers using body mechanics.
• Document daily care activities per policy and standards.
• Respond to resident concerns promptly.
• Familiarize with individualized care plans and provide support.
