Job summary

CareCore at Meadows is seeking a reliable Transportation Scheduler/Driver to join our team. The role combines resident interaction with organization and safe transportation of residents to appointments and activities.

Candidates should have experience with seniors or in healthcare and be prepared to adjust plans as needs change. A valid license and clean driving record are required, with 25+ age for driving the company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older to drive the company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred.
• DSP, STNA, CNA, or caregiving experience is a plus.
• Must have flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule resident transportation for appointments and other needs.
• Safely transport residents using the company vehicle.
• Communicate with nursing staff, residents, families, and outside providers regarding transportation.
• Keep transportation schedules organized and updated.
• Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Adjust transportation plans as facility and resident needs change.
