Job summary

CareCore at Meadows is seeking a dependable Transportation Scheduler / Driver to join our team. This role blends resident interaction, organization, and transportation, ideal for someone with experience caring for seniors or working in healthcare.

You will coordinate and schedule transportation, safely transport residents, and communicate with nursing staff, residents, families, and outside providers. The position offers a stable schedule and opportunities to support our residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older to drive the company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred.
• DSP, STNA, CNA, or caregiving experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, patient, and comfortable working directly with residents.
• Must have flexible availability, as scheduling will vary based on transportation appointments and facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule resident transportation for appointments and other needs.
• Safely transport residents using the company vehicle.
• Communicate with nursing staff, residents, families, and outside providers regarding transportation.
• Keep transportation schedules organized and updated.
• Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Adjust transportation plans as facility and resident needs change.
