CareCore at Willowood is seeking a dependable Transportation Scheduler / Driver to support residents with appointments and daily transportation needs. This role blends driving, scheduling, and resident assistance in a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, is organized, communicates well with residents, families, and nursing staff, and can adapt to a changing schedule while keeping vehicles clean and ready for use.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old to drive a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• CNA/STNA, DSP, caregiver, or similar experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working with elderly and long-term care residents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Dependable, patient, and able to manage a changing schedule.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate resident transportation for medical appointments and other needs.
• Safely transport residents to and from appointments.
• Communicate with nursing staff, residents, families, and outside providers regarding transportation.
• Maintain an organized transportation schedule and adjust as needed.
• Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Provide friendly, professional support to residents throughout transportation.
