Covenant Living Communities and Services in Keene, NH seeks a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings, providing direct care and supervising LPNs and CNAs. The RN will assess residents, coordinate with physicians, and contribute to care planning and regulatory compliance in a compassionate, faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• One year nursing experience necessary.
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
• Skill in assessing problems, planning and evaluating solutions in relation to supervision of LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Understanding, patience and tact in dealing with people.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English).
• Genuine compassion for senior adults and the disabled.
• Good human relations and ability to direct others' activities.
• Availability to work beyond normal hours and weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Assist in orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
• Motivate LPNs and CNAs on the unit and ensure high quality care.
• Explain nursing procedures and assist staff to ensure understanding.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing about assessments and concerns.
• Observe residents' health and report significant changes to staff and physicians.
